Onboarding: Integrations

It’s easy for an ActZero Portal admin to integrate services in the ActZero Portal.

Before beginning, review the prerequisites for the service you want to integrate:

Tip for some accounts: if your account has more than one tenant, make sure you create your new user with the intended tenant selected. The current tenant name shows in two places on the people onboarding screen:

Getting Started

Step 1. Choose ONBOARDING under the gear icon at the upper right:

Step 2. Click ADD SERVICE (or + ADD ADDITIONAL SERVICE >>) and choose from the list:

Step 3. Follow instructions below for the service you want to add.


AWS

Prerequisites

You will need:

  • AWS Account ID: a unique, 12-digit identifier for your AWS account used to manage resources, control access, track billing, and enable cross-account operations within the AWS ecosystem.
  • S3 bucket name: a unique name given to an Amazon S3 bucket, used to store and organize data within AWS. It must be globally unique and follow specific naming conventions.
  • Prefix path: a folder-like structure within an Amazon S3 bucket that helps organize and categorize objects. It is part of the object’s key and aids in efficient data management and retrieval.
  • Access key ID: a unique identifier associated with an access key. Access keys are used to securely authenticate your request when interacting with AWS services via the AWS command line interface (CLI), SDKs (software development kits), or API (application programming interface).
  • Secret access key: a confidential credential used alongside the access key ID to securely authenticate and access AWS resources.

Follow the instructions on this page to configure AWS to connect to ActZero and collect the information above.

  1. Fill in all fields.
  2. Click ADD.
  3. Click TEST to verify the integration.

Google workspace (G Suite)

Prerequisites

You will need:

  • Google admin email: The primary email address associated with a Google workspace (formerly G Suite) administrator account, granting administrative privileges and access to manage various settings and services within the organization's Google workspace domain.
  • Private key JSON file content: A JSON-formatted file that contains a private key used for secure authentication and authorization with Google workspace APIs. Follow the instructions on this page to configure Google Workspace to connect to ActZero and download your private key and JSON file.

After configuring your Google workspace:

  1. Fill in all fields.
  2. Click ADD.
  3. Click TEST to verify the integration.

Office 365

Prerequisites

You will need:

  • Content type: A select list of supported Windows events to be recorded.
  • Tenant ID: A unique identifier assigned to each organization or company using Microsoft Office 365 or Azure services. It is used for authentication, authorization, and resource management within the organization's 0365 and Azure environments. Follow the instructions on this page to configure MS Office 365 and Azure AD to connect to ActZero and collect the tenant ID.

Instructions

After configuring MS O365:

  1. Grant ActZero O365 MDR app access by clicking the text and following the instructions.
  2. Click the arrow to select the content type (Azure Active Directory, Exchange, General, and/or Sharepoint).
  3. Fill in all fields.
  4. Click ADD.
  5. Click TEST to verify the integration.

Salesforce

Prerequisites

You will need:

  • Username: The unique identifier or email address associated with a user's Salesforce account; used for authentication and login purposes.
  • Password: The confidential authentication credential used in combination with the username to access a Salesforce account securely.
  • Client ID: A unique identifier assigned to an application or integration within salesforce, used for authentication and authorization when accessing Salesforce APIs or services.
  • Client secret: A confidential authentication credential associated with the client ID, used in OAuth authentication flows to securely verify the identity of an integrated application or service.
  • Security token: Authentication credential in Salesforce used to enhance account security.

Follow the instructions on this page to configure a connection from your cloud environment to ActZero and gather the necessary information related to the items above.

Okta

Prerequisites

You will need:

  • Hostname: the domain or URL of the Okta service used for user authentication and identity management within an organization's Okta environment.
  • Auth token key: a unique authentication token key issued by Okta that provides authorized access to Okta’s APIs and services. Follow the instructions on this page to create the token.

  1. Fill in all fields.
  2. Click ADD.
  3. Click TEST to verify the integration.
