Configure a Cisco ASA to forward syslogs from ASDM

1. Navigate to Configuration > Device Management
2. Select Logging > Logging Setup and ensure that Enable logging is selected.
3. If the firewall has a secondary failover device, select Enable logging on the failover device.
4. Under Logging, select Syslog Servers
5. Click Add In the Add Syslog Server dialog box, enter the syslog server details:
6. Interface any interface that can reach the ActZero VM
7. IP Address The local IP of the ActZero VM
8. Protocol UDP
9. Timestamp RFC5424
10. Click OK
11. Navigate to Logging > Syslog setup
12. Select time stamp in syslogs option and ensure the format is RFC5424
13. Click Save
